Last evening the kids and I made a little snack.
It’s an incredibly easy, delicious recipe.
The recipe is from a blog I read called

with the recipe we used.
Recipe taken from Charissa’s page:
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
dash of salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons water
1/3 teaspoon vanilla
small handful of chocolate chips (optional)
Whisk together dry ingredients in a coffee mug, standard size (11 oz.) or larger. Add oil, water, and vanilla and mix thoroughly–making sure to scrape the bottom and sides so that it’s all incorporated. If you’d like, mix in chocolate chips.
Microwave on high for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. The finished product will be soft-ish and chewy.
Cool for a minute. Eat right out of the mug 🙂
** The only thing I’d do differently next time is reduce the amount of unsweetened cocoa to 1 Tbsp. It was very rich and chocolaty! It would also be great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! **
It was a fun, messy time in the kitchen with the kiddos! Delicious, too!
I just wanted to say that I enjoy reading Everyday Adventures and think Charissa is a really good writer. She has a way of taking the regular, ordinary stuff of life and see it as the adventure God has planned.
