Despite my previous post with the burned meat, the stew turned out really delicious! I’m so relieved! Added to the meat and broth were onions, frozen mixed vegetables, a few diced up potatoes, and dumplings (Eric’s mom’s dumpling recipe – 1 cup flour, 2 eggs, salt, pepper and a tiny bit of water if needed). I added 4 cups of water and 4 beef bouillon cubes to the pot, too.
